Lola Bean, the chief pooch and maestro behind The Lola Bean Coffee Co, had humble beginnings to say the least. She was rescued in a Cabela’s parking lot in rural Arizona after her soon-to-be mother Lexi found a Craigslist advertisement for a pupper with a heart of gold in need of a loving home. This poor fluff ball was sick as could be, but do not fret, this story has a happy ending. Lexi nursed Lola back to health through countless vet visits, cuddle sessions, long walkities, and puppy playtimes, and soon enough the two were inseparable and happy as could be.
Lola’s love for a cup of joe started early in her puppy years after an errant drop of coffee landed on her little puppy tongue. She had never tasted anything like it, but right away she thought to herself “Bold, balanced, with notes of toffee and cocoa”. Every day after that, Lola fell asleep each night to sweet thoughts of blonde roasts and extra foam, and knew that one day she would bring her caffeinated beverages to the world for all to cherish. Some days if you stop into the shop, you may even see Lola Bean whipping up a latte or ringing up our beloved customers.
Lexi is the loving mother of Lola Bean and the two-legged hooman carrying out her master plan. What Lexi lacks in paw paws she makes up for in her love for life and heart for making others smile. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and after high school she attended college in Arizona and chose to make it her home. She established her career in the hospice industry helping lead a family-owned hospice caring for over 200 patients each month.
